Flames select high-scoring defenceman Zayne Parekh ninth overall
The Calgary Flames added another piece to their rebuild by selecting defenceman Zayne Parekh with the ninth-overall pick.
With trade rumours swirling everywhere around the league, some pre-draft moves already over, uncertainty in the order players will be picked after first overall — and, of course, free agency on the horizon — the 2024 NHL Draft is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in years.
