Hockey Night in Canada features (Oct. 26)

Despite pulling through with a Game 1 win, the Los Angeles Dodgers are making some adjustments in hopes of keeping the good times going.

The Dodgers have made changes to their lineup ahead of Game 2 of the World Series against the Yankees, slotting Game 1 hero Freddie Freeman into the cleanup spot and replacing Gavin Lux with Miguel Rojas, the team announced Saturday.

Moving into Freeman’s typical third spot in the lineup will be Teoscar Hernandez, who hit a single in Friday night’s affair.

Also moving around will be the switch-hitting Tommy Edman, who batted ninth yesterday. He’ll play centrefield a day after suiting up at shortstop.

The New York Yankees, meanwhile, will keep it identical in Game 2, sticking with the Murderer’s Row of Juan Soto, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton at the 2-3-4 spots.

Taking the mound for New York will be lefty Carlos Rodón, who has a 1-1 record this post-season with a 4.40 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 14.1 innings pitched.

Opposite him will be Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers, who has a 1-0 record in three starts with a 5.11 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 12.1 innings pitched.

Game 2 of the World Series starts at 8:08 p.m. ET / 5:08 p.m. PT. You can watch the outing on Sportsnet or stream on Sportsnet+.
