Canucks bring back defenceman Hronek, Myers but loss of Zadorov could sting
Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin announced Friday that popular defenceman Nikita Zadorov, who was like a 250-pound force of nature during the National Hockey League playoffs, has turned down the team’s “best” offer and will leave when free agency opens on Monday.
With trade rumours swirling everywhere around the league, some pre-draft moves already over, uncertainty in the order players will be picked after first overall — and, of course, free agency on the horizon — the 2024 NHL Draft is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in years.
