Canucks neutralizing Predators’ dangerous power play

The Nashville Predators’ power play was purring entering the playoffs. They scored an early one with the man advantage in Game 1, but since then, the Canucks have found a way to kill 12 straight.

One of the main reasons the Toronto Maple Leafs trail the Boston Bruins in their first-round series has been special teams.

That hasn’t changed in Game 4 and Maple Leafs fans are beginning to lose patience.

After Bruins captain Brad Marchand scored a power-play goal midway through the second period, fans voiced their frustration on social media. The goal extended the Bruins’ special teams lead to 6-1 in the series and came after the Maple Leafs had failed to convert on two power plays of their own.
